latest blog post (2026-10-06)

never beating the allegations of not posting or updating things on time!! i either lock in too hard and art for a month straight or i get too distracted and play video games too much. so i forget to talk or write and update things oof.

some quick ramblings about stuff because it's been yet another roller coaster. i was drawing a ton, then i got really sick for a bit, tapered out of drawing, then dragged back into video games and trying to make friends again, and then slowly tapered off of that too? life truly is the gift that keeps on giving.

for starters, artfight was great! i'm not sure how great the 3 teams worked out in terms of overall balancing for points, but i really enjoyed having 3 teams for the vibes. who cares about points anyways heh. i was on team tragedy and it so happened that my friends were all on mystery or comedy. team tragedy may not have won... but i am a winner in my heart!!

this year felt special for artfight. this is my second year really locking in. for 2025 i attempted to do a drawing a day, and this year, i continued to chase the same goal! but the twist this year was...i felt like i wanted to do reference sheets? the thing i've been saying i'd eventually do for years??
